Jodie Kautt is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Target. She leads the company’s global cybersecurity organization, which protects Target, its team members, and consumers from cyber threats and fraud. Her team includes the 24×7 Cyber Fusion Center, which integrates threat intelligence, advanced analytics, and state-of-the-art technology to mitigate risks. In addition to cybersecurity, Jodie oversees engineering and development teams that build tools and technologies supporting Target’s Assets Protection organization. In 2021, she expanded her role to lead the newly formed Fraud organization. By leveraging cyber defense capabilities, she helped develop a multi-layered strategy to identify and prevent fraud across physical and digital channels – including efforts to combat gift card scams. Jodie is deeply committed to fostering inclusion and development. She serves as the executive sponsor for Target’s Women’s Belonging Community, which empowers women through advocacy, community, and professional growth. She joined Target in 2005 from KPMG, where she consulted with a variety of companies. Jodie chairs the NRF’s Fraud Prevention Professionals Working Group and is a member of the Aspen Cybersecurity Group.
